About the Swine

Our purebred Tamworth sows are bred to our Gloustershire Old Spot Boar and have thus far provided us with 15 feeder pigs. We are delighted to add this lean and healthful pork to our line of all natural pasture raised meats. The Tamworth is a rugged, thrifty active breed of swine that is favored by those who are interested in raising a lean type hog. The sows are excellent mothers, producing litters of 8 to 10 piglets annually. Tamworths graze readily and at our farm double as plows and brush clearers. Tamworths have a reputation of producing the best bacon of any breed.

Our first all natural pasture pork is currently available. We have hams, pork chops, bacon,Italian sausage,both hot and sweet. Please remember all smoked products are nitrate free. Call or email us for details.
